It’s graduation season again in Hawaii Nei! Last night, my friend graduated with her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. It seems like only yesterday when she received her Bachelor’s. Two years flies by pretty quickly, even though it may seem like a long time away when you are thinking about it. I remember thinking that two years was a long time when I went to graduate school, but man, I was so wrong! In a blink of an eye, graduate school was over and I was graduating with a Master’s. Crazy!
After the ceremony, my buds and I, and our guest-of-honor, celebrated at Thank Q Pocha, a Korean-fusion restaurant. My girlfriend (the graduate) and I have thought about trying this place a while ago. So glad we finally did with the gang! It was all of our first time there and we enjoyed the food very much! We decided to start with appetizers and would decide to order more after. But after we grinded the appetizers, we were actually pretty full. Haha! The appetizers were quite filling and awesomely delicious!
We ordered popular dishes off the menu, that was recommended by our server.
Two fried bao buns: one with bulgogi and the other with kalbi. O.M.G., so good! They were both delicious!
We also ordered the seafood and kimchi pancakes. I enjoyed both, but liked the seafood one more. I loved the flavors of the different seafood in the dish.
I can’t wait to go back to try their fried rices and cheese corn. Those are their other popular dishes on the menu.
