An Indian feast for two!

The other weekend, my boyfriend and I went to one of the best Indian restaurants on the island- Café Maharani. It’s been a while since we last went there. We went there for our second date and I introduced my boyfriend to Indian food. He enjoyed it (yay!). The restaurant is always crowded and parking is sparse. We were fortunate to find parking and get a table right away.

We ordered the combination dinner special for two, which was a great deal! This is what we chose to grind!

Vegetarian samosas- mmmm! Looks like big won tons, huh?

Our entrée: lamb masala (similar to a lamb stew or curry) and palak paneer (homemade cheese with a creamy spinach sauce), with saffron rice. OMG! It was so good! The yogurt and sweet/sour sauces were for the samosas.

Stuffed cheese-garlic naan. Mouth watering!!!

I love Indian food! I could eat it daily! I understand that the spices are healthy.

I found an article explaining the health benefits of Indian spices:

Café Maharani
2509 S. King St.; Honolulu, 96826

Have a blessed Good Friday and Easter weekend. He has Risen!!!
