Last weekend, I experimented on making a new dessert with jello. Jello has been my all-time comfort food. I grew up eating jello and always remember my pediatricians recommending me to eat this whenever I had the stomach flu or tummy issues, as part of my “liquid diet.”
I found this very simple recipe: http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/orange-tangerine-greek-yogurt-bites-200489.aspx.
Of course, I altered the recipe. Instead of using orange-tangerine jello, I used strawberry and berry blue, my two favorite flavors. This recipe called for the JELL-O® mix, Greek yogurt, and mandarin oranges.
It takes at least an hour for the “bites” to harden in the fridge. However, I found that it’s best to leave them in a little longer.
I enjoyed the dessert! I think this would also taste delicious as a pie. Kraft® has awesome JELL-O® recipes that I am eager to make! I am excited!
Have a great rest of the weekend!
