May the fourth be with you!

Happy Star Wars Day to all you Star Wars fans!

I went to one of my fave Greek places for lunch today in Downtown, called TheDeli at the Arcade Building. I decided to try something different- oooh! I know, right? I usually get the chicken salad, but today I ordered the falafel salad. I love falafels and TheDeli’s was tasty. Their salad is awesome! That’s why I always order it. The greens are always so fresh and it’s just so tasty. It’s my all-time favorite Greek salad. The tabbouleh that they add to the salad is the best I’ve ever had! Tabbouleh is “a Middle Eastern dish of bulghur wheat mixed with chopped tomatoes, onions, parsley, mint, olive oil and lemon juice.” I think it’s also their dressings that make the salad awesome- a simple vinegarette and a yogurt sauce- O.M.G.! Yum, yum, yum!!!

If you’re ever in Downtown, check out TheDeli. It’s owned by a Japanese-native woman, whose late husband was Greek. Cool, huh?
